WHEN IS GHOST: Rite Here Rite Now COMING OUT? ABOUT MOVIE!!

Screened at UK and global cinemas for two nights only on Thursday 20th and Saturday 22nd June 2024, Rite Here Rite Now combines concert footage from Ghost’s two shows at Los Angeles Kia Forum in 2023 with a narrative story based on the Swedish band’s ongoing webisode series.

Soundtracked by Ghost’s 2016 track ‘Square Hammer’, which contains the lyrics “right here, right now”, the one-minute Rite Here Rite Now trailer features clips of Papa Emeritus IV (aka Tobias Forge) on stage and off stage, and we also get glimpses of other characters including Sister Imperator and Papa Nihil.

News of the film comes shortly after the frontman revealed that he has already begun work on a new album. In an interview with Metal Hammer (via Louder Sound), the frontman revealed he had already started on the successor to ‘Impera’ and had completed a few new songs that will be part of the tracklist.

He also spoke to NME in April last year about the band’s covers EP ‘Phantomine’, where Forge revealed that the project could “cast a glimpse as to where I want to go with the band now”.

“That doesn’t mean that all of a sudden we’re going to sound like Television!” he said. “It just means that there are practical things in there that have inspired me to record this EP in a slightly different way than I have done previously.”

In more recent Ghost news, it was reported in March that someone purchased an unreleased solo album from the frontman and founder for a whopping amount of money.
